BBRRP™ (the Bespoke Big Ridge Reservation Platform) enables our members to easily manage their reservations and do all sorts of other cool stuff. We launched the platform early last year and while we’ve made a handful of small tweaks here and there, and in the last few weeks we made a few of big improvements. Three that are especially noteworthy:

Notifications of openings. If a member cancels an imminent reservation and a window of 3+ days opens up, members will get a notification that those dates are now available. Generally there’s lots of availability, but in the summer, people have made plans far in advance and there’s generally not a lot of opportunity for last minute jaunts up to BRMC. This will change that.

Notification management. The users on your member account (our kids are users; perhaps yours are, too) no longer need to get every notification. And when making a new reservation, you can specify who is to receive relevant notifications. We’ve opted all non-primary users out of most notifications, including the monthly statements and upcoming reservation reminders. So if you aren’t the “primary” on your member account and you’d like to get statement notifications and notifications of new openings, log into your account, click on your little avatar thingy in the upper right, then click on notifications.

Guest notifications. Our members invite guests to visit BRMC all the time. Often the guests come without the member being present, and in those cases, reservation-related notifications have been a bit of a hassle. So now, when you are making a reservation for one of your guests, you can add them to the notifications without having to make them a user on your account.

When we are pretty confident of the barn completion date, we’ll add it to the reservable amenities on BBRRP™.

P.S. If you are interested in membership, you can sign up as a provisional member, and upon my confirmation of your sign up request, you’ll be able to schedule a complimentary visit to Big Ridge. This is our version of a free trial.
