Project Coordinator
I’m hiring a part-time Project Coordinator to help with several of the ventures I have underway. The work will be varied (real estate, construction, software, startups, social media), interesting, and rewarding.
Based in Atlanta. Because many of my projects require hands-on (or eyes-on) attention, the ideal person will be in Atlanta.
Who would be a great fit? I am open to hiring an older teenager, a full-time student, someone who is very early in his or her professional career, or someone with a great deal more experience who has the bandwidth and interest to attend to a wide variety of projects.
Compensation and Time Commitment. I expect to pay $20 to $40 per hour (per the description above, assume $20 for the older teenager and $40 for the person with a great deal of experience), and am looking for someone who can consistently commit 8 hours per week.
Description of Work. The types of projects this person will be working on include things like creating payment plans in Stripe, producing blog and social posts that include work-in-progress pictures from Big Ridge, printing and shipping Periodical issues, coordinating an archery competition in Glenville, producing Yeoman episodes, and conducting customer discovery interviews for a new software business.
Attributes. I am a pretty high-trust and empowering boss (more about me), and the people who have the most success working with me tend to have a bias toward action, are comfortable taking initiative, and aren’t shy about asking questions. The Project Coordinator will ideally have basic competency (or the capacity to quickly become competent) with platforms like WordPress and Stripe; some experience with video production; and an interest in entrepreneurship, real estate, and software.
To apply. Fill out the form on the homepage. Include a description of yourself, links to anything that can help me get a better understanding of who you are, and a few 45-minute windows that work for you for a video chat.
