Monday morning was quiet, cool, and cloudy at Big Ridge Mountain Club. Here’s a time lapse view of morning’s first light from the porch of the Writer’s Cottage, looking to the West.
At about the 10 second mark, a half-dozen deer venture out from the woods on the left, cross over to the apple trees, then return the way they came. They are about 150 yards away and the light is low, so you’ll need to expand to full screen to see them. They look like tiny ants quickly marching.
